Holy Wow
I've created a start up and I'm flying by the seat of my pants here, people. I know what I've done in the past and I know what works for me. I took a gamble that what I thought was real just might be. And if last week means anything, I bet on black and won the pot. To make sure that I could actually do this crazy thing that I think I do... you know, inspire change... I decided to run some case studies. With an overwhelming and resounding response to my post I filtered through a grip of fucking awesome people (and am still kind of figuring out who is going to fit the bill). And my key learning so far: simply taking the time to focus on yourself actually will inspire the hell out of you. It doesn't take hiring someone to do it (putting myself out of business before I even really start) but it is helpful.
If you don't want to hire someone for help then help yourself. Put an hour on your calendar and take a meeting where all you do is talk to yourself about you. It's a subject you know pretty well, or you should get to know pretty well. I'm so excited I'm nearly bursting with it. Like that little girl with cotton candy. Seeing people light up like a freaking lightbulb is probably more exciting for me than them. I just can't fucking wait to see what's next.
